The last week of March was National Cleaning Week, and though that time has just recently passed, it’s not too late to celebrate if you still have large cleaning projects on the horizon.
One of the most quickly rewarding things to clean is your car, especially if the weather outside permits for the first time in months. Here are some quick car cleaning tips to get you started:
- To clean carpets, use an air compressor to blow dirt and debris from hard-to-reach corners into the center of the carpet, where it can be vacuumed easily.
- You can also use an air compressor to remove accumulated dirt from air vents, to give your car a fresher smell.
- Don’t use dishwashing detergent to clean the outside of your car, as it will wear down the finish with time. Instead, get yourself some proper carwash solution.
- A simple scrubbing with hair conditioner can really increase your car’s shine, especially if the conditioner contains lanolin.
