Nissan Switch is a subscription-based, on-demand driving service developed by Nissan to provide customers with the ability to drive the car they want, when they want to drive it. You can already stream movies, music, and shows, so why not follow a similar model for your car?
Nissan Switch will launch in Houston and will offer an assortment of vehicles, from the all-electric Nissan LEAF PLUS to the TITAN pickup to the GT-R sports car. There is no long-term contractual commitment, meaning you won’t be bound to any obligation that doesn’t work for you.
Nissan North America Vice President of Legal, External Affairs, and Business Development Andrew Tavi, stated, “Nissan Switch is another way that Nissan is testing alternatives to the notion of traditional mobility, without long-term financial commitments for our customers. This program provides more choice, convenience, and flexibility. For those who want a sedan during the week and an SUV or sports car, like the GT-R, on the weekends, Nissan Switch provides the solution.”
The subscription program allows you to choose from vehicles of the latest model year with upgraded trim levels. Driver-assist technology such as Nissan ProPILOT Assist can be found in some of the cars, letting shoppers try out different features and technologies.
