Chrysler Announces New Canine Companions for Independence Program

In a move applauded all across the world, Chrysler recently announced its new online social media campaign partnership with Canine Companions for Independence. Everything you need to know about this new initiative is included below.

The main goal of this new program is to raise awareness and support for the Canine Companions for Independence team’s goal to place more assistance dogs in jobs through its “Give a Dog a Job Campaign.” This fundraising campaign will help raise money to place dogs with adults, children, and veterans with disabilities.

“Through our partnership with Canine Companions for Independence, the Chrysler brand is able to help bring awareness to its ‘Give a Dog a Job’ program through our new online social initiative,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Cars, Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA North America.

Just some of what you will see through the campaign is Foley the dog doing the following:

  • Getting acclimated to the puppy raiser’s home, including new sights and sounds
  • Grooming, cradling, playing with feet, and ignoring food on the ground
  • Celebrating important days like National Puppy Day (March 23), Veterans Day (November 11), and Canine Companions National Graduation Days (May 5, August 4, and November 3)

If you would like to follow along or support this fundraising campaign, be sure to follow Chrysler on all of its social media channels. In addition, feel free to contact us at Rothrock CDJR to learn more!
