The Nissan Murano rolled off the production line and onto roadways in 2014. Since then the vehicle’s been filled to the brim with tech, comfort, and convenience for the driver and passenger alike. Now, the Murano has received recognition for that achievement in Ward’s Best Interiors. WardsAuto World editors placed the Murano on their top 10 list.
“First time I saw the new Murano interior, I was blown away by the pearlescent film that’s used to lovely effect on the doors, instrument panel, center console and armrest,” said Tom Murphy, executive editor, WardsAuto World. “The rest of the interior is brilliantly executed as well, from the smooth, flowing lines of the instrument panel to the ample cargo hold. Beige interiors often are perceived as boring, but this one is stylish and contemporary while achieving a serenity uncommon among midsize CUVs.”
Editors spent a couple months looking over every detail of 42 vehicle interiors as they commuted in Detroit. Each vehicle was scored based on features such as comfort, value, safety, and design harmony.
The third generation Nissan Murano CUV has more features than anyone could ask for including Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, Forward Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The 2015 Nissan Murano has a smooth ride, top-of-the-line safety technology and now, it’s been awarded for its all-around fantastic interior. Less than a year on the market and the sedan already has the makings of a contender.
