Upgraded 2015 Nissan Murano Changes the Face of Murano
Nissan is giving their Murano model a huge overhaul, leaving almost nothing the same and presenting the new model almost entirely differently, starting with its obvious change in shape.
The upgraded 2015 Nissan Murano has a front-face that is bold, almost louder than the Pathfinder or the Rogue, with swooped headlight pods and accents. There’s an overall “round” feel to the car, leaving it without sharp angles. The Murano is completely different in shape with these changes, which contribute to a stealthy look not usually found on five-passenger tail wagons.
Getting down to the specs – the new Murano weighs 145 pounds less than its predecessor, making it that much easier to power. In fact, the Murano now gets 21 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway, for both front- and all-wheel-drive models. Simplicity was on the list too, with audio and navigation options switched from 25 to just 10 controls.
Producing 260 horsepower, the new Murano is one of Nissan’s strongest models yet, with all of the latest amenities available on the inside and a suggested retail price of $30,400.
