Nissan has unveiled the new, third-generation version of the Murano at the New York Auto Show last weekend, and it left us wondering: when can we get it?
The new Murano has more design presence than ever before. It takes its visual cues from the Nissan Resonance Concept vehicle, featuring a bold nose, an aggressive kink in the beltline behind the C-pillar, and dramatic headlights that suggest a car that doesn’t take no for an answer. As in “no, you won’t be able to resist me.”
And that’s probably true, thanks to the standard 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine the Murano hides under its hood. The V6 is rated at 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque and mated to an advanced Xtronic transmission that Nissan claims will be smooth and responsive. Thanks to about 130 pounds of weight reduction, the Murano will even get about twenty percent better fuel economy.
So, when can we get it? The 2015 Nissan Murano will go on sale in late 2014. Learn all of the details at Rothrock Nissan!
