2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid Offers 26 MPG Combined Fuel Econom
With the introduction of an all-new fourth-generation Pathfinder for the 2013 model year, Nissan’s legendary adventure-ready Next Gen SUV took a major step forward in refinement, enhanced fuel economy, cutting-edge technology and family utility. Now, for the 2014 model year, the evolution of the Pathfinder continues with the introduction of a new affordable hybrid powertrain system designed to enhance fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions with no reduction of driving performance, passenger roominess or cargo capacity.

Last week, we introduced the new cars in the 2014 Nissan lineup. This week, we’re talking SUVs, minivans, and trucks… oh my!

The Nissan Armada returns unchanged from the previous year. It will be offered in three trim levels and as a 2WD or 4WD model. It should hit dealership lots starting in September 2013. The 2014 Nissan Murano and Murano CrossCabriolet are also unchanged. The CrossCabriolet convertible is available in one model and currently on sale. The 2014 Murano should arrive in September 2013 in four models.

The Nissan JUKE is unchanged aside from the addition of the JUKE NISMO that debuted at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. The 2014 JUKE adds two new exterior colors and will be available in four models in November 2013. The Nissan Quest returns with few changes. It will be available in four models when it goes on sale in August 2013.

The Nissan Pathfinder is back with an all-new hybrid model that is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor with a compact Lithium-ion battery. The hybrid will go on sale this fall, while the 3.5-liter V6 models will arrive in late summer 2013.

The 2014 Nissan Xterra gains several new features for the model year including new 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheel designs for the S and PRO-4X models, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System on X and S grades, and heated front cloth seats on PRO-4X models. The NissanConnect system has also been updated with smartphone integration, SiriusXM TravelLink and audio voice recognition. The Xterra will be available in October 2013.

An all-new Nissan Rogue will debut this fall, however full details are not yet available.

Both the Nissan Frontier and Titan return for 2014. The Titan is unchanged and will be available in September 2013. However, the 2014 Frontier gets many enhancements including new available aluminum-alloy wheel designs, heated front cloth seats, new standard features like Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System on S models, enhanced navigation system functionality, and NissanConnect Apps smartphone integration. The 2014 Frontier will be available in two body styles and five trim levels when it arrives in October 2013.
